Hi, I’m Codie Williams, founder of Earth Song. I’ve found that sound, movement, mindful touch, and human connection are powerful doorways back to ourselves. Our true nature — what exists beneath the noise of our every day lives. Earth Song exists to open those doorways for others.

A Little Bit About Me and My Vision

I was born and raised in Texas and have called Northern Virginia home since 2007. As a child, I was always drawn to the mystical, the mysterious, and the unseen. Music became one of my first teachers, and after learning to play the trumpet, I left home at 18 to serve in the United States Marine Corps as a bugler. It was during my time in the military that I discovered yoga. What began as a personal practice gradually became a lifelong path of healing, self-inquiry, and service. For more than 15 years, yoga has been a steady companion, shaping not only how I move through the world but also how I support others. After leaving the military, I traveled extensively, often on my own, studying holistic approaches to well-being and learning from teachers across a variety of traditions. Along the way, I became a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with training in Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, and Restorative Yoga, a Licensed Massage Therapist, a Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher, and received training in Sound Healing, Breathwork, Reiki, and other complementary practices.

Over the years, I have been deeply influenced by Indigenous wisdom traditions, particularly those of the Peruvian Amazon. Their reverence for nature, relationship with spirit, and understanding of healing as something that includes the body, mind, heart, and community continue to inspire the way I hold space today. I am especially grateful for the teachings of the Shipibo people, whose rich tradition has profoundly shaped my appreciation for the healing power of sound, presence, and ceremony. These influences are woven into my work with care and respect. Whether we meet through massage therapy, yoga, meditation, reiki or sound healing, my intention is to create a space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and remember the innate wisdom already within you. I approach every session with compassion and deep respect for your unique path. I believe each person possesses an inherent capacity for healing and growth. Drawing from yogic philosophy, contemplative traditions, and the timeless wisdom I've encountered through my travels, I aim to support you in cultivating a life that feels grounded, meaningful, and deeply your own.
