The Raga Mini is a small model shruti box made for those who need a light instrument to carry around without compromising on quality. It is made of solid pine wood instead of the more commonly used teak wood; pine wood is lighter and therefore it is a better choice in order to have a light weight instrument. Pine being a soft wood, produces a slightly warmer tone compare to harder woods light teak. The sound offers a full bodied resonance and good dynamic range.
This shruti box is gently used and is world traveler! Manufactured in Italy and has also traveled to the Amazon Jungle of Peru and was with me through my first master plant dieta.
